A structured playlist and EPG data is also automatically exposed by the Xtream protocol, as such players implemented based on it load faster and provide better program guides than generic M3U-based setups.
An important point to note: The Stalker Portal and Xtream Codes are not interchangeable. An app set up on one will not run on the other. You require an Xtream-compatible player in case your provider provides you with a username and password. When they have a portal URL and MAC, you require STB Emulator or a client that is compatible with Stalker.

Buffering in IPTV is virtually never an issue with the server. It's a last-mile problem. The linkage between your router and your streaming device adds additional latency to the IPTV server.
Fixes that always minimize buffering:
- - Prefer wired Ethernet connection over Wi-Fi.
- - You want to set your player to 3-5 seconds of buffer size (this can be configured in advanced settings in most applications).
